Im Rahmen der Initiative ver\u00f6ffentlichen wir eine Fotoserie mit der zwei wesentliche Botschaften kommunizieren. 1) Wir erinnern die \u00e4ltere Generation daran, bei ihren Entscheidungen die Zukunft der n\u00e4chsten Generationen zu ber\u00fccksichtigen. 2.) Wir wenden uns an Jung- und Neuw\u00e4hler, von ihrem demokratischen Recht an Wahlen teilzunehmen, Gebrauch zu machen. \n \n<\/p>

Wahl zum Europ\u00e4ischen Parlament ist auch Generationenwahl<\/p>

Wien (OTS) – Die Zukunft der Kinder liegt in den H\u00e4nden der Erwachsenen. Die Weichenstellung f\u00fcr die Zukunft der Kinder in Europa erfolgt u.a. auch bei den Wahlen zum Europ\u00e4ischen Parlament zwischen 23. und 26. Mai 2019. <\/p>

Kinder k\u00f6nnen nur darauf hoffen, dass die \u00e4ltere Generation bei ihrer Wahl verantwortungsbewusst an sie denkt. Die Volksabstimmung in Gro\u00dfbritannien mit dem knappen Entscheid, die Europ\u00e4ische Union zu verlassen, zeigte, dass hier Chancen f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chste Generation verbaut werden.<\/p>

Die Privatinitiative #loveyouEU mobilisiert f\u00fcr eine h\u00f6here Beteiligung an den Wahlen zum Europ\u00e4ischen Parlament (EP) und erinnert mit der Fotoserie \u201eYOUR FUTURE. MY CHOICE \u2013 MY FUTURE. YOUR CHOICE\u201c an die Verantwortung \u00e4lterer Menschen gegen\u00fcber den k\u00fcnftigen Generationen. Gleichzeitig appelliert #loveyouEU an Erst- und Jungw\u00e4hler sich ihrer Verantwortung f\u00fcr ihre Zukunft bewusst zu werden: \nMY FUTURE. MY CHOICE.<\/p>

Basierend auf Daten des Eurobarometer nahmen im Jahr 2014 an den EP-Wahlen lediglich 28% der 18 bis 24j\u00e4hrigen teil. <\/p>

\u201eEine solch geringe Wahlbeteiligung bei den jungen Menschen darf niemanden kalt lassen. Jeder kann dazu beitragen, Mitmenschen zu motivieren, w\u00e4hlen zu gehen und die Rahmenbedingungen der eigenen Zukunft und jener, k\u00fcnftiger Generationen in Europa mitzubestimmen\u201c sagt Nicolas Entrup einer der beiden Gr\u00fcnder der #loveyouEU Initiative. <\/p>

\u201eDas Brexit-Fiasko muss allen eine Lehre sein. Nach den Wahlen zu jammern, hilft wenig. Wir werben f\u00fcr eine aktive Partizipation der Zivilgesellschaft in Entscheidungsprozessen und f\u00fcr die Weiterentwicklung der europ\u00e4ischen Idee\u201c sagt Michael Hartl, Mitbegr\u00fcnder von #loveyouEU. <\/p>

#loveyouEU ist nicht parteipolitisch, kommuniziert ein positives, pro-europ\u00e4isches Lebensgef\u00fchl und positioniert sich f\u00fcr die Weiterentwicklung der Europ\u00e4ischen Union basierend auf der Grundrechtecharta und gegen separatistische und nationalistische Tendenzen.
